# Aiden Bai

> Aiden Bai builds tools, datasets, and open-source software for a faster web.

Aiden is building [Million](https://million.dev), which creates datasets that teach models to write great frontend code.

At 16, he started [Million.js](https://github.com/aidenybai/million), a compiler that made React faster. The project went viral after a [Fireship video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VkezQMb1DHw) and started his work in open source.

## Current Work

Aiden has built [React Scan](https://github.com/aidenybai/react-scan), [React Grab](https://github.com/aidenybai/react-grab), and [React Doctor](https://github.com/millionco/react-doctor). His work focuses on web performance, React tooling, compilers, and interfaces for software agents.

His mission is to fix the web so great technology reaches everyone.

## Background

Aiden attended the University of Washington for 3 months before leaving for Y Combinator W24. In high school, Hack Club became his home away from home. He also competed in ISEF and wrote an ACM SAC 2023 Best Paper.

Along the way, he worked on projects including Same and Million Lint. Those products reached more than 400,000 users and generated millions of dollars in revenue.
